Apply Even Up® once a day as the last step in your skin care regimen and just before foundation. Apply Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Brush-on Sunscreen SPF 50 every two hours for continued coverage and optimal results.

3. Even Up® feels thick when I apply, what’s the proper application technique?

Dispense 1-2 pumps of Even Up® onto your fingertips and rub between your fingers to activate the minerals. Warming the product in this way will make it easier to spread and blend into skin. Apply liberally to lightly moisturized face ensuring even coverage as the first step in your make up application.

4. Can Even Up® be applied to eyelids?

Even Up ® has not been tested for use around the eye area. Use caution when applying near the eye area and avoid getting product into the eyes.

5. How many pumps do I need in order to get SPF 50 coverage?

Apply 1-2 pumps of Even Up®, spreading evenly over the entire face for full SPF 50 coverage.

6. Can I wear Even Up® with moisturizer?

Yes, apply Even Up® to lightly moisturized skin as the last step in your skin care regimen and just before foundation.

7. Can I wear Even Up® with a primer?

You do not need to use a separate primer when using Even Up® as it is formulated to correct hyperpigmentation/discoloration and prime the skin for makeup application.

8. What do I do if it looks “cakey” on my skin by the end of the day?

To prevent Even Up® from feeling thick or “cakey” at the end of the day, ensure your skin is lightly moisturized prior to applying Even Up®. Before applying “warm” the product by rubbing between fingertips. This will allow for more even application.

9. What is the treatment in Even Up® and does it help with brown spots?

Even Up® has a proprietary formula called LUMIRA® which is a skin brightening complex. It’s highly effective and clinically tested to address the multi-phase pigmentation process that leads to the appearance of skin discoloration. Colored with iron oxides, Even Up provides immediate color correction of brown spots and hyperpigmentation and ongoing benefit of addressing underlying causes.

10. Is Even Up® waterproof/sweat proof?

11. Can I use Even Up® instead of other topical treatments recommended by my dermatologist?

13. Even Up® is not my color. Will Colorescience come out with additional shades?

14. Can Even Up® and All Calm® be mixed together?

Formal testing of a mix of Even Up® and All Calm has not been conducted. By using these products together, the color correction benefit may be compromised as the tints in each cancel each other out. The resulting mix would not provide the same correction as when used individually. If you experience both hyperpigmentation and redness, apply each product to the affected area(s).

15. Will Even Up and All Calm® ever be in a dual pump?

There are no plans to combine these products in a dual pump due to their unique individual nature and the significant differences in how they address red or brown discoloration.

16. Should I start using Even Up® or All Calm® first?

As each product was designed to target a specific skin issue, use the product that treats your primary concern. For hyperpigmentation and discoloration, begin with Even Up®. For redness and sensitivity, begin with All Calm®. You may use the other product to spot treat, being careful not to mix the two products, as this may cancel the corrective properties of each.

17. What are the differences between Even Up® and All Calm®?

These products are formulated to treat two different skin concerns and therefore contain different set of ingredients that target either hyperpigmentation or redness. In addition, All Calm® has subtle green undertones vs. Even Up® has slightly peachy color. All Calm® is a fully anhydrous (contains no water) formula while Even Up® is near anhydrous. From a texture perspective, Even Up® is slightly heavier weight.

18. Where does tint come from?

The tint is from iron oxides. It is designed to instantly diffuse the appearance of skin discoloration and even skin tone.
